Project 3 due week 10 April 21 - and options

The project for week 3 is an exercise in metallics. You can do that as it is described on the project sheet. OR.......
Option 2 - "from vision to reality" - take an image of your choosing and starting on one side with a black/white - pencilled - charcoal type of look move across the image such that by the time you get to the far side of your image it is now in full color. Color fades in as you move across the image.
Option 3 - an image of your choice with an emphasis on perspective - vanishing point
Option 4 - a work revolving around an exploration of typography
Option 5 - a full page much like what you did in the first project with your marketing package
Option 6 - a project of your choosing.....with my approval.

Week 4 summary

There will be a quiz next week (week 5) covering the material through chapter 4.

Project 1 - the style sheet - from the project sheet I handed out is no longer due. It has been replaced by the project I assigned last week that is centered upon a marketing package for a company each of you "own". See the prior blog entry for a description of that project. It is due next week (week 5) at 2:00 PM.

Project 2 - the "character" from the project sheet is due Week 7 at 2:00 PM. You can use a character from outside of school if you want or you can use a character from the Drawing class if you want. A character dredged up from your imagination is the best theme for this assignment.
